Thanks to Colonel David Hines, the Sheriff of Hanover County, for hosting our chapter at the HCSO Headquarters.

Lt. Terry Sullivan, commander of the Hanover County Sheriff's Criminal Intelligence Unit briefed our chapter members of the global impact of the SHIELD program.

Investigator Robbie Hess of the Hanover County Sheriff's Office helped our members analyze recent crime patterns and provided insight in to the terrorist threats to Central Virginia.

President Jeffrey A. Katz, Treasurer Cindy Hodges and Secretary Tricia Bahen joined other FBIRCAAA members to write out almost 500 Christmas cards for the patients at McGuire V.A. Hospital. 

Assistant Special Agent in Charge Tom Chadwick discussed the role that transnational organized crime plays in the opioid epidemic.

DEA Supervisory Special Agent Todd F. Prough, who commands the Richmond District's Tactical Diversion Squad, briefed our Chapter on the actions of his unit in combating the scourge of opioid abuse.

The FBIRCAAA sponsored a special screening of the film "Chasing The Dragon: The Life of an Opiate Addict" which included a special Q & A sessions with FBI SAC Adam S. Lee and DEA ASAC Michael J. Barbuti.
